The latest announcement from Latitude includes some big music names plus spoken word headliners for the Poetry Arena.

Added to the bill are Australian psychedelic rock band, Tame Impala, recent iTunes chart toppers Bombay Bicycle Club and 70s Rock & Soul legends Daryl Hall & John Oates. Also revealed are Agnes Obel, Jungle, Damien Jurado, Julia Holter, Valerie June, Koreless, East India Youth, Kwabs, Eagulls and Fat White Family.

They will join previously announced headliners Two Door Cinema Club and Damon Albarn who will be performing his new album Every Day Robots in his first ever festival appearance as a solo artist.

Latitude has a great reputation for showcasing poetry and this year will be no exception with spoken word from Scroobius Pip, Kate Tempest and George The Poet, beatboxing performances from Shlomo & Friends and Reeps One plus poetry from Roger McGough, Michale Rosen, Ben Okri, Gillan Clarke and Hollie McNish all announced today.

The 9th edition of Latitude takes place in the grounds of Henham Park, Southwold from Thursday 17th to Sunday 20th July 2014. Tickets are still available and there is a new £50 deposit scheme in place to help spread the cost. More coverage and tickets here.
