UB40 are to headline the Saturday at next year’s Wychwood Festival with reunited founding band members Ali Cambell, Astro and Mickey Virtue.

The reggae legends who perform at the festival for the first time will be joined by The Proclaimers, Ghostpoet, Dreadzone, Electric Swing Circus, Rusty Shackle and Fickle Friends. This is the first wave of acts to be announced with many more expected in the New Year.

Graeme Merifield, Festival Director comments, “We are hugely excited to welcome UB40 with the exceptionally talented Ali Cambell, Astro and Mickey Virtue back together for what I have no doubt will be an incredible Saturday headline performance on our Wychwood mainstage. The tenth birthday celebrations this year was an absolute delight and with this firmly in our mind, Wychwood 2015 is set for even bigger and better things and we cannot wait to share the three wonderful days with you all.”

The 11th edition of the Wychwood Festival returns to Cheltenham Racecourse from Friday 29th to Sunday 31st May 2015. This year saw a record turn out and performances from the likes of The Stranglers, King Charles and Boomtown Rats at the family friendly festival. The last remaining early bird tickets which are available until the end of the year are priced at £119 for adults, £94 for concessions, £54 for 10-15 year olds, £18 for 5-9 year olds and under 5’s go free.
