Basement Jaxx are the first act to be announced for the 10th edition of Standon Calling.
Still riding high from their recent Grammy nomination for Never Never, the electronic dance music duo will headline the coveted Sunday night slot following in the footsteps of big name guests such as De La Soul, Fat Freddy’s Drop and Super Furry Animals.
Felix of Basement Jaxx said: “It’s great to end the year with a Grammy nomination and our tour finale at the O2 in London. Looking forward to 2015, we’re excited to announce a headline slot at the brilliant Standon Calling festival on Sunday August 2nd”.
After two sell-out years the festival returns to the country manor grounds of Standon House in Hertfordshire for their tenth birthday celebrations from Friday 31st July to Sunday 2nd August 2015. Next year promises a day-to-night festival extravaganza from the weird and wonderful, the brilliant and bizarre, to the superb and the silly.
