Eastern Electrics

The UK underground electronic music festival, Eastern Electrics Festival, has announced its return for Saturday 2 August 2014.

The location for the festival is yet to be announced, as is the line up which is set for release in March.

Late last year the announcement was made that the music brand was entering liquidation, but the announcement that it’s now set to return for its sixth year means this year’s all-day party is set to be the comeback of a very exciting festival.

Festival promoter Rob Star has said he’s “[…]totally committed to building an underground electronic music festival that the UK can be proud of.”

“Eastern Electrics is something that is extremely close to my heart. I have worked tirelessly for the last six years to build the event from a weekend warehouse rave at the arches in Great Suffolk Street to a festival for 15,000 people.”

Eastern Electrics has grown from an underground warehouse rave to a fully-fledged music festival and Star is keeping the bar held high: “At times it’s been a roller coaster ride, but we are 100% committed to providing amazing electronic music events in the most beautiful settings.”

Last year saw performances from the likes of Richie Hawtin, Kerri ChandlerSeth Troxler and Magda and more big names are expected to follow in their footsteps this year.

Tickets will be on sale from March, starting at £29 with VIP tickets costing £79. The line-up, location and tickets will be available here in March.
