Arcade Fire have confirmed themselves as headliners for this year’s Glastonbury.
Following months of speculation, the Canadian band today revealed on their Twitter feed that they will be headlining the Pyramid Stage on Friday 27th June as part of their European tour schedule.

Last month the band further fueled rumours when frontman Win Butler said to BBC Radio 2 DJ, Jo Whiley, “Get your wellies ready”.
Other acts that have self-confirmed their appearance at next years Glastonbury Festival include Lily Allen, The Stanton Warriors and Craig Charles. More announcements are expected in the New Year.
