The second chapter of Junction 2 is taking on form with the first line up announcement featuring names such as Adam Beyer, Ben Klock, Chris Liebing and Daphni all set to rub shoulders in some of the biggest slots the party has to offer.
Additionally two new stages are going to be adding to the mayhem, forming the backdrop for a showcase of fresh sounds across a broader electronic musical spectrum, whilst maintaining the festival’s ethos of great sound, high end, detailed production, extended sets, zero VIP nonsense, a ban on plastic tents and a big focus on the thing that matters – Techno.
The first of these new areas is already being stacked together and early whispers suggest it could be a serious contender to the space under the bridge. The second stage is primed to become the go to place for new talent and breakthrough sounds, making use of a hidden enclave deep in the woods to birth first time performances.
So far this is the only announcement from Junction 2, providing a glimpse of things to come from an event claiming that it’s going to provide a welcome raising of the bar when it comes to electronic music fests in the capital.
Junction 2 is an Underground Electronic Music festival organised by LWE. The debut event took place on Saturday 4th June 2016 underneath the M4 motorway bridge Boston Park, West London – a harking back to the days of the old school.
It consisted of three arenas hosted by industry leading names including the likes Drumcode, The Hydra and Closer with headline sets from Adam Beyer, Dixon, Alan Fitzpatrick, Ame, Carl Craig and many more.
Next summer’s event returns to Boston Manor Park on Saturday 10th June 2017. Tickets are on sale now, get yours here
