About Sasquatch
Sasquatch is an American festival that takes place over three to four days encompassing Memorial Day in the early part of the season. It is held in a remote location at the Gorge Amphitheatre in George, Washington. This is a beautiful, out of the way site, which provides a gorgeous natural backdrop to this music and arts spectacular.
The musical policy as Sasquatch is one that keeps real music close to its heart. There is a definite emphasis on Indie Rock bands together with singer slash songwriters and individual artists who bring their own flair to the event. However this agenda is not so tightly controlled that is does not allow for other genres and styles to creep into the catalogue, with EDM, Alternative Rock and even Heavy Metal finding their way onto the line-up listings.
Like many of the green-fields events, Sasquatch is housed in a remote location, which means you’ll need to get out your tent and rubber wellies if you are going to survive for the duration. This gives the festival a real community spirit running deep through the party, with everyone giving it the total togetherness vibe and that old time back to the source feel. With plenty of new school additions like the Skype Music Room, which allows attendees to put their own fingerprints on the stage this is an excellent blend of everything that makes festivals great.
