The Eton Messy DJs are no strangers to Croatia’s Hideout Festival.
These top lads hosted a sunset boat party on the closing night of the 2015 event, topping the weekend off in fashion for those in attendance.
In less than 150 days, they’ll make their much anticipated return to the beats and sunshine laden festival.
We managed to catch up with Charlie Wedd, one half of this Dance Duo to find out which tunes he’s feeling right now, and what they might be planning to serve up during their sets.
His response?
“If I was to play Hideout tomorrow these 5 songs would be some of the tools in the bag (Or memory stick!).”
Riton – Rinse & Repeat
Charlie: This one is getting ‘rinsed’ by everyone at the moment and for good reason. If you’re struggling to get the crowd going, fear not…. This will save the day.
Format B – Chunky (DJ S.K.T Remix)
Charlie: A great remix which keeps teasing the crowd.
Maribou State – November Nights
Charlie: When you want to get that mood shifting….
LIMITS – Fading Away
Charlie: A track guaranteed to get the crowd jumping. But of course we are going to be biased on this one.
Catchment – Wait for You
Charlie: Predicting big things for Catchment. One of our favourites so must slip in the set. Good old bit of piano.
Hideout Festival returns to the Island of Pag, Croatia for its sixth edition, taking place from Sunday 26th to Thursday 30th June 2016.
The second wave of acts were announced last week including the Martinez Brothers, John Talabot, and Joris Voorn who all join the previously announced Jamie XX, J.E.S.u.S, Jamie Jones and of course, the Eton Messy boys.
