After months of rumours and speculation, Metallica have been revealed as the third and final headline act for this year’s Glastonbury.
Making their debut, the US rockers are the first heavy metal act to headline the festival in its 44 year history. They join previously announced acts Arcade Fire and Kasabian at the top of the bill.
The full line-up with stage splits has been confirmed with Skillrex, Jake Bugg and Massive Attack headlining the Other Stage. MGMT, London Grammar and Kaiser Chiefs headline The John Peel Stage while MIA, Disclosure and Bryan Ferry top the bill on West Holts.
