The latest Isle of Wight Festival announcement – Kings of Leon will headline on Sunday 15th June.

Making their much-anticipated return to the Isle of Wight Festival, Kings of Leon will appear in what will be a Festival exclusive performance.

Also announced are appearances from a selection new and established acts, including TravisClean BanditThe Specials and John Newman. Also performing over the weekend will be  Deap Vally, Nina Nesbitt, The Horrors,  Gorgon City and The Strypes.

Travis said: “We’re made up that we are making a trip back to the Isle of Wight, last time was a top gig. There’s a lot of rock and roll history gone down on that little island and it’s great to be a part of it again.”

Joining them on the Island this summer will be, The Polyphonic Spree, From The Jam, Neon Jungle along with, Swim Deep, Chlöe Howl and The Selecter.  And if that wasn’t enough, Duke Dumont, Peace, July Talk and The Move are all on the bill.  Finally, rounding off this list of artists are Dappy,  Lawson and The Vamps.

Other exclusives for the Main Stage line up come from Biffy Clyro on Friday 13th June, and Red Hot Chili Peppers on Saturday 14th June.

In addition to world-class headliners,  Calvin Harris will be performing a set to close the show on Friday night, with a guest performance from Rudimental. Not only that, Passenger, The 1975 & The Waterboys will also all be appearing from 12th – 15th June.
