The sunset at Coincidance

Want to go loco down in Acapulco? Well this could be the nearest thing. How do you fancy getting your shuffle and skank on with a slice of Central American flavour at one of the top dance music festivals in the region?

The Coincidance Music Festival is back in Playa del Carmen, Mexico from the 30th December through to the 2nd of January, making this one New Year’s Eve attendees are likely to never forget.

If Lady Luck shines your way then you and a friend could be taking in this event of a lifetime as we have two tickets to give away. Simply answer the question at the end of the article and one winner will be picked at random from a madcap jester’s hat.

The festival has put out their final line up announcement for the 2015 party, which includes world-renowned international acts such as Crazy P, Einmusik, Jay Haze, Fred Everything, Balcazar & Sordo and Jimpster.

You can catch these artists and a whole load more across a number of festival venues including two of Playa del Carmen’s best beach clubs, complete with shamanic cocktails, rooftop pool parties, banging boat parties on catamaran and even a secret jungle rave.

All of this is wrapped up in a unique and truly stunning beachside location in the Mexican Riviera Maya. Playa del Carmen is already being talked about as the Mexican Ibiza and you’ll find your pounds go a long way when they’re transformed into pesos.

Dance the final moments of 2015 away and ring in 2016 with some of the finest Electronic music artists from all over the world, whilst discovering magical cenotes and ancient Mayan pyramids or diving with sharks on the enchanting Riviera Maya coast. Beach and beats, fiesta and siesta!

To put yourself in the frame with a chance of winning this superb prize, simply answer the following tremendously challenging question:

Which film about the Ancient Mayan people did Mel Gibson direct?

A) Apocalytpo
B) Apocalypse Now
C) Whoops Apocalypse

The competition shuts its doors at 11:59pm on Thursday 3rd of December so you’ll need to get your skates on and make sure that passport is up to date. The winner will be notified by the festival organisers shortly afterwards – and no, unfortunately flights and accommodation are not included, we’re simply not that generous. For more info about travel and accommodation, please visit
