Festival Mag and Alchemy Festival have teamed up to give one lucky reader the chance to win a pair of tickets to its three day bohemian carnival of romanticism this September (Friday 19th to Sunday 21st).
With Senser, Anarcho-punk act Culture Shock, Headmix Collective and The Defekters headlining and a reputation for being completely non-corporate, non-sponsored and non-commercial, Alchemy is a must for any music loving crusty seeking an alternative to some of the massive money making festivals.
Set in a stunning wildlife reserve in Coningsby, Lincolnshire, Alchemy runs alongside the Autumn Equinox so as to properly coincide with their hippie ethos. The festival has a variety of imaginative activities to keep the little ones as into the weekend antics as the adults and their ultimate aim is to ‘become a festival totally powered by renewable sources’.
The festival’s devotion to greenness and originality in making it fun definitely sets Alchemy apart. To be in with a chance of winning one pair of tickets simply answer the following question:
Q) The practice of alchemy is traditionally associated with:
A) Transforming common metals into gold
B) Turning water into wine
C) Turning men into women
The competition will close at 9:00am on Friday 1st of August 2014 and the winner will be informed shortly afterwards. Head to the website for more information www.alchemyfestival.co.uk
