Nozstock: Hidden Valley is returning for 2014 with a new theme: ‘Jurassic Farm’.

Following last years ‘Wild West’ comes another eccentric weekend at Bromyard in Herefordshire, taking place slightly later this year across the weekend of 1-3 August.

‘Jurassic Farm’ is set to encompass all things pre-historic; dinosaurs, Flintstones and even ‘giant killer pigs’ are invited to unite and the festival crew have been set the challenge of getting the site decidedly Neanderthal.

Nozstock has had a hugely successful year; having won not only the ‘Improving Greener Festival Award’ for 2013 but also being shortlisted for ‘Best Dance Event’ for 2013’s UK Festival Awards.

The Hidden Valley festival has a big heart for all things environmental and last year festival goers raised £453 for New Leaf Herefordshire; an organisation working with local companies to help them improve and facilitate their action towards sustainability and carbon reduction.

The festival also encourages its attendees to be green, with prizes available last year for those who cycled from more than 15 miles away. They also support the ‘Love Your Tent’ campaign which encourages people to re-use and re-love their canvas homes.

Nozstock has a variety of opportunities for you to get involved behind the scenes as a volunteer, both short-term and long-term. Check out the volunteer jobs at the website.

A plethora of entertainment is available for everyone at Nozstock, with an organic and family-friendly vibe there’s a wide range of different music, including electronic, acoustic and live acts all joined together; workshops for the big and small, food stalls, art exhibitions and  film screenings.

The first line up announcement is due shortly as well as information regarding early bird tickets.
