Bugged Out Weekender 2014

Bugged Out Weekender 2014

Celebrating it’s 20th anniversary in 2014 the UK club night, Bugged Out, has released the first eight names lined up for the Bugged Out Weekender, set to take place between the 7-9th March.

In celebration of reaching its second decade, the Weekender has lined up some of the best DJ’s in techno, acid house and bass music. Nostalgia rings through the speakers as Dave Clarke is announced to play again, having first graced the Bugged Out decks in 1994. Sasha – who first played the event in 1999 – is also set to return to the Weekender in 2014.

Representing Innervisions Label, house DJ Dixon is lined up to play the event, described by Bugged Out themselves as an ‘absolute must for the Weekender’. Returning with three EP’s under their belt since the last Weekender are house and techno duo, Dusky. Having first played at Bugged Out in 2001, Erol Alkan – the man who played a flawless 10 hour marathon set earlier this year, will be making an appearance once more.

Also featuring in 2014’s line up is a guaranteed good time from Eats Everything, coined by the Weekender as possibly the most fun person in dance music; 2014’s anniversary event wouldn’t be the same without him. Kölsch, house and techno DJ-producer, will also be back alongside Paul Woolford, the man responsible for this year’s Ibiza anthem; ‘Untitled’.

The Weekender is residing in a new location for 2014, heading back to where it all began in Northern England. The event will be held at Southport’s Pontins resort, providing the comforts of on-site accommodation as well as pool parties and activities throughout the day.

Earlybird tickets are currently still on sale for the price of £129pp plus a £14.99 booking fee. Ticket prices vary according to which type of apartment you chose, reaching a maximum price of £149pp.
