About Strawberry Fields
Drawing inspiration from the classic Beatles song on the Sgt. Peppers album, Strawberry Fields is one of a growing number of independent festivals appearing on the UK summertime event calendar. It’s situated in a picturesque part of the countryside in Cattows Farm, Leicestershire, tying together all the necessary elements to give attendees the good old traditional party in the countryside experience, complete with camping, mud and plenty of fresh air.
The music policy tends to stay on the commercial side of the urban beats and breaks thing with a few Indie acts to spice up the proceedings. You’re not going to get any truly big names gracing the stages at Strawberry fields, but what you are going to get is a very solid vibe where people know how to party and enjoy themselves.
There’s plenty to get on with at Strawberry Fields including a fun fair, live art demonstrations from some of the UK’s top graffiti artists and the usual comedic tents where you can spend your afternoons having a few laughs alongside your fellow festival goers. Battered souls can be reassembled ready for another evening’s merriment in the healing area – in short there’s just about everything you can think of here to make your party into a good one.
