About Truck Festival
Truck is a small, independent festival started in 1998 by the Bennett family who wanted to create something less predictable and commercial than some of the larger festivals.
The site is on a working farm and the festival makes use of the amenities with venues in cow sheds and alike.
Music wise revellers can expect a mix of metal, emo, punk, folk and hardcore during the day and by night dance music sounds including drum and bass and breakbeat with local, national and international DJ’s performing.
The festival prides itself on being family friendly with local groups putting on food stalls and workshops and profits going to charity.
In recent years the event has suffered from the increase in the number of festivals and after some poor tickets sales the management stepped down to let Y Not Festival takeover. It has since become a sell out event.
