Fancy cooling off in between bands at the only UK festival boasting a swimming pool?
Well dig out your speedos, because we have one pair of tickets to give away to Standon Calling. This tip top festival takes place on a long weekend of hopeful heat and prospective sunshine from Friday 29th to Sunday 31st July 2016 at the private residence of his Standon lordship.
This is an area of unrivalled natural beauty, full of picturesque sights, making it the perfect backdrop for the complete spectrum of party behaviours ranging from total high-jinks through to horizontal chill out manoeuvres.
Now rolling on nicely into its 11th year, this festival, which evolved from a simple backyard barbeque, has already made a few big line-up announcement with Alternative Indie Brit-Poppers Suede, Grammy award winning Jess Gylnne and New York Funkstress Kelis all filling up the headline slots.
Standon Calling is one of those parties where they like a bit of a theme. 2015’s A Town of Two Faces was a cowboy circus mashup that went down a storm with the crowds. In 2016 the organisers have opted for a more nautical approach with party people getting all aboard on the Legend of the Lost Seas theme, requiring attendees to navigate their way around a watery site.
