The line-up announcements are underway for next year’s Download Festival.
First up are Slipknot who headline on Friday. This will be the band’s 5th appearance at Europe’s biggest rock and metal music festival and their first since the recording of new album .5: The Gray Chapter.
Main support comes from Birmingham rock legends Judas Priest who played the original Monsters of Rock festival back in 1980 and last played Download in 2008.
Last year’s secret band Black Stone Cherry headline the second stage on Friday, fresh off the back of their hugely successful UK arena tour.
