The first acts have been announced for this year’s Exit Festival. Oasis frontman and Manchester boy Liam Gallagher is headlining on the 6th of July. Joining him on the main stage will be the voice of a new generation, singer-songwriter Jake Bugg.
Continuing the tradition of great parties following headliners will be Alan Walker on Friday, London Hip-Hoppers Foreign Beggars on the Saturday and then the affair will be bought to a close by Hardwell on Sunday.
Paul Kalkbrenner is heading the Dance Arena on Friday night and helping him raise heart rates and build crescendos will be the likes of Recondite, Duke Dumont, Kungs, Jamie Jones, Hot Since 82, and Black Coffee. And those disappointed by last year’s sudden cancellation of Robin Schulz due to illness will be able to catch this act in fine form.
As ever, heavier sounds are available on the Metal, Punk and Hardcore stage of the EXIT Festival giving it that crushing edge to the more upfront party sounds. Expect the likes of Destruction, Discharge, Acidez, The Black Dahlia Murder, Full of Hell, Darko and Dordeduh.
The EXIT festival will celebrate 50 years since the Summer of Love in 1967, so the party will be summoning the spirit of Haight Ashbury and the Merry Pranksters with an electric, multi-coloured edge that celebrates the power of flowers and a desire to tune in, turn on and most certainly drop it.
Taking place a short ride away from the Serbian capital Belgrade, The Exit Festival takes place in the magical Petrovaradin Fortress set high on the banks of the river Danube in Novi Sad from 6th – 9th July 2017.
