All Tomorrow’s Parties have confirmed more artists for End Of An Era parts 1 and 2.
The very last UK holiday camp festivals at Camber Sands are coming up very soon – part 1 has sold out and the second has less than 200 tickets left.
Weekend 1, taking place between the 22-24 November, already features an amazing lineup headlined by Marquee Moon, Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Dinosaur Jr, Low, Tortoise and many more. Added to the lineup are His Clancyness as well as DJ sets from Justin Spear, Declan Allen, Dr Kiko, Jamie and Manish and ATP DJs, with more DJs and the film schedule still to be announced.
Weekend 2, running from 29 November – 1 December, will be curated by ATP and Loop, who released three mind-blowing albums in the late 1980s; highlighted by A Gilded Eternity released in 1990. Two final fantastic bands have now been announced for this event: F**k Buttons and A Winged Victory For The Sullen. DJ sets from Cherrystones and Barry Hogan are confirmed as well as DJs Declan Allen, Dr Kiko, Jamie & Manish and ATP DJs all returning for part 2. More DJs and the film schedule are still to be announced.
Paranormal drama ‘Partir To Live’ will be having its international premiere at the ATP Cinema with Jozef Van Wissem performing his soundtrack live at the screening. Directed by Domingo García-Huidobro of the band Follakzoid (who will make their long awaited UK live debut at the event), the film is described as “an experience into sensations, ethical confusion, and physical & psychic contusions.” (www.partirtolive.com) The trailer can be viewed here:
