Kendal Calling 2017

Kendal Calling has announced the first acts for 2017 including the acts and artists who’ll be filling the headline slots. The Stereophonics, Franz Ferdinand, Frank Turner & The Sleeping Souls, Manic Street Preachers and Tinie Tempah are the big names set to provide those hands in the air moments for the crowds.

This will be the Kendal Calling debut for the Stereophonics, whilst elsewhere on the line-up Brian Wilson returns to present Pet Sounds in its entire format together with a sprinkling of greatest hits with Al Jardin and Blondie Chaplin adding their own special guest flavour to the performance.

Following on from his roaring success acting as a headliner in 2014, Frank Turner & The Sleeping Souls will be co-headlining again in 2017. He is joined by the likes of Jake Bugg, Frightened Rabbit, Seasick Steve, Editors, Slaves, Circa Waves, Nothing But Thieves, Lethal Bizzle, Kate Nash, The Hunna, Loyle Carner and the Coral.

Last year this party completely sold out – hardly surprising when you consider that it once again won “Best Medium Festival” at the UK Festival Awards.

Taking place at Lowther Deer Park in The Lake District, tickets for this event are on sale now.
