Field Day have announced their first headliner for 2017 and it’s the legendary dance innovator Aphex Twin. This seminal Electronic Music pioneer will headline The Barn with a rare and definitely exclusive two hour set. And to top it off, it’s the first time Aphex Twin’s played on UK soil in almost a decade.
The Barn is Field Day’s state of the art indoor second main stage arena, made from a giant metal construction able to host major performances that are backed up with cutting edge light and sound. A new venue for 2017, this is set to form an exciting destination for party heads keen for the full audio visual spectrum of entertainment.
Many fans have been expecting this announcement as the rumour mill went into overdrive after last weekend say flyers pop up around London that suggest Aphex Twin would be playing Field Day.
Now approaching its 11th year of summoning some of the coolest and most exciting acts onto its roster, Field Day as played host to the likes of PJ Harvey, Caribou, Skepta, Patti Smith and the Pixies over the years.
