Could Alt- J, The Chemical Brothers and Hozier headline the 10th anniversary edition of Latitude Festival?
Sister festival Longitude has just announced the trio of acts will headline the event which takes place on the same weekend in Ireland.
The two festivals have shared virtually identical line-ups since Longitude’s inception two years ago and we’d say that makes the chances of these bands performing in Southwold this summer pretty high.
Organiser of both festivals, Melvin Benn, has previously stated that one of Latitude’s headliners will be someone who has “risen up through the ranks of the festival”. With alt-J having previously played both the Lake and 6 Music stages, we think Benn could well have been referring to the indie rockers from Leeds.
Another hint from orgainsers suggested they will be inviting bands who have previously performed at the festival back to join in with the birthday celebrations. The Longitude line-up announcement also mentions Caribou, SBTRKT, Wild Beasts, Jungle, Wolf Alice and Slaves, all of whom have appeared at Latitude in the past..
Latitude festival takes place in the grounds of Henham Park, Southwold from Thursday 16th to Sunday 19th July 2015. So far, the only act to be officially confirmed is Twin Hidden. For more information and tickets see our Latitude guide.
