US scene big gun Coachella has revealed its 2016 line-up. Dance innovator Calvin Harris, Rock gods Guns N’ Roses and LCD Soundsystem have been named as the first headliners.

LCD Soundsystem plunge back into the fray following a five year hiatus, and are on the schedule to headline the opening night. They’ll be joined by an eclectic mix of Underworld, Foals, Ellie Goulding, M83 and Savages. Alongside this cultured mob will be another returning band, The Last Shadow Puppets, the side project of The Arctic Monkey’s Alex Turner.

Guns N’ Roses will head up and hopefully tear apart the main stag on Saturday night with the original line up of Axl Rose, Slash and Duff McKagan for their first performance in over two decades. Will Axl manage to keep his cool? Or will he turn into the loudest festival firework?

They’ll be backed by another musical legend in the form of Ice Cube, together with Disclosure, CHVRCHES, James Bay, Grimes and Run the Jewels.

The final night’s entertainment will be topped off by Calvin Harris, with Sunday support ranging from Sia, Major Lazer, Flume, Beach House, The 1975 and Rancid.
