Latitude have confirmed more names for this year’s festival.

Chrissie Hynde returns to the festival after first appearing with her band The Pretenders in 2009, this time for a solo performance on the Obelisk stage. She will be joined by American indie rockers Augustines who are set to play the BBC 6Music stage and Paul Heaton & Jacqui Abbott who will perform songs from their new LP ‘What Have We Become’ due for release in May 2014.

Also appearing across the weekend are alternative country rockers The Jayhawks, Canada’s Rhodes, ambient producer Tycho, soloist D.D Dumbo, London band Vaults, electronic duo Solomon Grey, soulful electronic popsters Years & Years, rising star from Sweden Elliphant, UK guitar band Childhood, synthpop band from Baltimore Future Islands, grammy-nominated British singer, songwriter and producer MNEK, the psychedelic Syd Arthur and singer/songwriter Danni Nicholls.

Damon Albarn, The Black Keys and Two Door Cinema Club headline the festival which returns for its ninth edition to Henham Park, Southwold from Thursday 17th to Sunday 20th July 2014. There are still some big comedy names to come plus the Sunday lunch slot is yet to be announced.
