About Happy Days
The Happy Days festival is held in late May at Imber Court in Surrey. This event hosts some 5,000 attendees for a two day knees up in a very picturesque part of the country at the Imber Court Sports club, which is located by the Ember River and the Island Barn reservoir giving party people some gorgeous views. Although the site shuts at 10pm every day those still looking to dance on into the night can find more footloose fun at the linked club venues.
For a smaller festival Happy Days attracts just the right blend of sonics. The usually have two distinct musical flavours to each of the days with a Soulful and Dance feel to the Saturday and a Family Carnival fiesta atmosphere to the Sunday. This brings some of the truly established acts of both genres to the table making it a must-go event for fans of this cool and grooving sound.
Although this is an out of town festival, there are no camping facilities so if you’re travelling from afar to visit Happy Days make sure you book a hotel with your tickets. There’s plenty however to keep you entertained on the site with lots of bars and food-stalls and you can even get ear protection from the festival office if you want to boogie right by the speakers. This is one party that’s definitely all about the music and this is reflected in the up for it vibe and smiling party crowd.
