About Global Gathering
The Global Gathering festival grew out of the famous Birmingham Godskitchen club nights. It began in 2001 and has been held annually at Long Marston Airfield on the last weekend in July. This Dance music based event has twice won the DJ Magazine Best Festival Award, playing host to over a hundred acts on sixteen unique sound venues across its greenfield site.
You will hear a celebration of every music genre that comes with an attached computer cable at the Global Gathering festival. Whilst in the past this event was more rooted in the Hard House side of the scene it now celebrates every kind of Dance music there is going, from Urban beats and breaks with the Dubstep stages through to the more traditional House, Trance and Techno sounds. If you are into Electronic Music then this is a must visit destination.
Global Gathering has grown over the past decade into a major world-wide Dance music brand. In recent years the event has travelled to Poland, Belarus, Ukraine, Russia and South Korea. Expect a full on party atmosphere here from start to finish with bags of energy and enthusiasm round every single corner as you become part of a festival family.
