About Electric Daisy Carnival UK
The Electric Daisy Carnival runs in both the US and the UK – making it one of the growing number of trans-continental festivals. It was originally sparked into life way back in 1997 as a rave style event that kicked off inside the Shrine Expo Hall in Los Angeles. Since then it has wandered around the US taking in a number of destinations where it has been known to drawn in crowds in excess of 250,000 wide-eyed party barkers.
This is an event that is unquestionably synonymous with grandiose scale Dance music madness – the Electric Daisy Carnival has been nicknamed the American Ibiza by some in the press. Now recognised as the largest EDM festival in the world, it regularly holds court with some of the biggest names in the industry. It is without question a party that is drenched in a hedonistic vibe, filled with lost moments of togetherness as thousands of hands reach for the lasers.
2013 was the first year that the Electric Daisy Carnival turned its eye on London after putting on a huge event in Las Vegas, giving European crowds a taste of the party madness.
